Factory Director Job Description
I. Basic Information
- Position Name: Factory Director
- Department: Operations Department
- Direct Superior: CEO (Headquarters)
- Subordinate Departments: Production, Quality, Equipment, Technology, Logistics, Safety and other departments.
II. Position Overview
Fully responsible for the daily operation and management of the engine cylinder block and head processing enterprise. Develop and implement the enterprise operation strategy, optimize the production process, ensure product quality and delivery cycle, control operation costs, improve the overall operation efficiency and market competitiveness of the enterprise, and achieve the enterprise's business objectives and sustainable development.
III. Job Responsibilities
(I) Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop the operation strategy, medium - and long - term development plans and annual operation plans for the engine cylinder block and head processing business based on the company's overall strategic goals, and promote their implementation.
- Regularly evaluate and adjust the implementation of the operation strategy and plans to ensure that the enterprise's operation direction is consistent with market demands and the company's strategy.
(II) Production Management
- Overall production plan arrangement. Reasonably formulate production plans according to customer order requirements, market forecasts and inventory situations to ensure that products are delivered on time, with high quality and in the required quantity.
- Optimize the production process, continuously improve the production technology, increase production efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Supervise the production process to ensure that production activities strictly follow safety regulations, quality standards and process flows, and promptly solve various problems that occur during the production process.
- Manage the production site, maintain good production order, promote 5S management, and create a clean and efficient production environment.
(III) Quality Management
- Establish and improve the enterprise quality management system, formulate quality standards and inspection procedures to ensure that product quality meets relevant domestic and international standards and customer requirements.
- Organize quality inspection work, conduct strict inspections on raw materials, work - in - progress and finished products, promptly handle quality - related abnormal problems, take corrective and preventive measures, and reduce quality - related losses.
- Promote the enhancement of the overall quality awareness of employees, organize quality training and education activities, and improve employees' sense of quality responsibility and operating skills.
(IV) Equipment and Technology Management
- Develop equipment management systems and maintenance plans to ensure the normal operation of production equipment, improve equipment utilization and service life.
- Organize the procurement, installation, commissioning, maintenance and renovation of equipment to ensure that the technical performance of the equipment meets production requirements.
- Pay attention to the development trends of industry technologies, introduce advanced processing technologies and equipment, and promote the technological innovation and upgrading of the enterprise.
(V) Cost Control
- Develop and monitor the operation cost budget, strictly control various expenses such as production costs, labor costs, and logistics costs.
- Analyze the cost structure, propose cost - optimization plans, and reduce operation costs through measures such as process improvement, procurement optimization, and production efficiency improvement.
(VI) Team Management
- Responsible for the establishment, training and development of the operation team, formulate employee performance appraisal standards, and motivate employees to improve their work performance.
- Create a good team atmosphere, strengthen team communication and collaboration, and improve team cohesion and execution.
(VII) Supply Chain and Logistics Management
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluate the qualifications and capabilities of suppliers to ensure the stable supply of raw materials and components and reduce procurement costs.
- Optimize the logistics distribution plan, reasonably plan the warehouse layout, improve logistics efficiency, reduce logistics costs, and ensure the timely flow of materials.
(VIII) Customer Relationship Maintenance
- Maintain close communication with customers, promptly understand customer needs and feedback, coordinate to solve customer complaints and problems, and improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Participate in market research and customer demand analysis to provide support for the enterprise's product research and development and market expansion.
IV. Qualification Requirements
(I) Educational Background
- A bachelor's degree or above in relevant majors such as mechanical manufacturing, industrial engineering, and automation.
(II) Work Experience
- More than 10 years of work experience in engine cylinder block and head processing or the mechanical manufacturing industry, and more than 5 years of operation management or production management experience. Familiar with the processing technology and process of engine cylinder blocks and heads, and possess rich experience in production site management, quality management, and cost control.
(III) Professional Skills
- English can be used as a working language, with fluent listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Proficient in relevant knowledge and skills such as production planning and scheduling, quality management, equipment management, and supply chain management.
- Have strong data analysis capabilities, and be able to discover problems through data analysis and propose solutions.
- Proficient in using office software and information systems related to production management.
